MCC’s Sandeep Shinde fifer helps Prabhu Jolly Young Cricketers defend a low total in Cosmopolitan Shield Tournament’25

Prabhu Jolly Young Cricketers batting first on Matunga Gymkhana Ground in Mumbai were all out for 94 runs in 27.2 overs. Sanchit Kadam with 34 runs was the highest scorer while rest of the batters found it difficult to going. Dhananjay Rao and Vighnesh Solanki with 4 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Defending a low total, Prabhu Jolly bowlers did a fabulous job of restricting Matunga Gymkhana to just 57 runs all out in 18.3 overs on their own homeground. Sandeep Shinde led from the front amongst the bowlers as he took 6/17 in 9 overs including 3 maidens. Sandeep was instrumental in providing top order breakthroughs which made all the difference in the match as Prabhu Jolly Young Cricketers won the match by 37 runs.
