MCC’s Aman Manihar impresses with a half century and fifer in same match in U23 Madhav Mantri Summer Camp Trophy’25

MCA D opting to bat first at PDTSA Ground in Mumbai made a total of 117/10 in 36 overs. Captain Parth Ankolekar at the middle order was the highest scorer with 31 runs while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going. MCC’s Aman Manihar who is also the Captain of MCC C team led from the front taking 5/20 in 11 overs with 5 maidens. Aman bamboozled batters with his impressive left arm spin providing timely breakthroughs to his team.

Chasing 118, MCA Academy C chased down the total in 26.5 overs. After losing some quick top order wickets with scoreboard 53/4 at one stage, it was Aman playing the rescuer’s role with the bat too. Aman coming at no.6 completely turned around the game in no time as he scored a quickfire 54 off 28 balls which included 9 boundaries and a six as MCA C won the match by 6wkts. Aman Manihar for his all-round show was declared ‘man of the match”
