MCC XI wins the finals while Captain Dinesh Mohan remains unbeaten throughout the tournament!

Into the all important finals of Saanvi Cricket League Edition 40, Shree Siddhi Lagaan Warriors opting to bat first were all out for 138 runs in 20 overs. Uday Sai with 3 wkts and Tiru with 2 wkts were the pick of the lot while Dinesh Mohan with 0/20 in 4 overs was amongst the most economical.

Chasing 139, MCC XI chased down the score in just 18.2 overs winning the match by 7 wkts and becoming Champions of the Tournament. Dinesh Mohan coming at no.3 anchored the chase with a solid 45* off 43 balls while he was well supported by opener Santosh (39 runs) and the middle order batters. Dinesh also ended up being the most valuable player in the tournament not only doing brilliant captaincy but also scoring 374 runs without getting dismissed throughout the tournament batting at an average of 376 and strike rate of 141.67
