MCC White Elite wins on the back of Bhagya’s 66 and Akshay’s 4-fer in MCC Pro 40 League’24

MCC White Elite opting to bat first at Oval Plot No.8 made a total of 187/7 in 20 overs. After losing the top 3 early, Bhagya Patel at no.4 top scored in the match with a solid half century. Bhagya scored a gritty knock of 66 runs in 91 balls which included 6 boundaries while Smin, Aryan and Pushkar chipped in with crucial cameos at the middle order. From the bowlers, Pramod Kumar with 2 wkts was the pick of the lot.

Chasing 188, MCC Yellow Elite in reply were all out for 110 runs in 29.5 overs thanks to a match winning bowling spell by Akshay Baviskar. Akshay returned with impactful bowling figures of 4/18 in 4 overs including some key top order wickets.
