Matunga Gymkhana’s Bipin Waghela spanks 9 sixes in his unbeaten 79* in D Division Kanga League’24

Matunga Gymkhana batting first on their homeground posted an impressive total of 255/2 in mere 31 overs courtesy counter attacking batting display by opener Ihsaan Amin and Bipin Waghela. Both the batters smashed unbeaten half centuries stitching an unbeaten 112 runs stand for the 3rd wicket. Opener Ihsaan scored 86* off 87 balls which included as many as 15 boundaries while Bipin Waghela scored 79* off mere 42 balls. Striking at almost 200.00, Bipin spared no bowlers or corners of the ground as he smashed as many as 9 sixes coupled with 3 boundaries in his aggressive knock.

Worli Sports Club in reply were all out for 140 runs in 31 overs with experienced spinner Yogesh Dicholkar taking 5/33 in 11 overs as Matunga Gymkhana won the match by 1st innings lead of 115 runs.
