After losing some quick wickets, Kaustubh Bothare at no.4 rescued his team with a heroic half century. From 2/3 and 38/3, Young Men’s Cricket Club Vasai reached a total of 201/10 in 43.2 overs as Kaustubh went on to score 80 off 95 balls. Kaustubh held fort from one end smashing 11 boundaries and a six. From the bowlers, Nishant Shivalkar with 3/69 was the pick of the lot.

Gaud Union Sports Club in reply scored 298/5 in 35 overs courtesy tons by opener Mangesh Vaity and Yogesh Pawar. Mangesh scored 127* off 94 balls smashing 8 fours and 9 sixes while Yogesh Pawar scored 100* off 76 balls which included 10 boundaries and 3 sixes as both the batters stitched 220 run stand for the 3^rd wicket helping Gaud Saraswat win on 1^st innings lead.
