Kundu’s 171 & Mann’s 9 wkt haul steers Avinash Salvi Foundation to a commanding win in U14 Cricplus Test Championship’21

Played on Rock 27, Sports Ground in PuneCMT A opting to bat first were cleaned up for 160 runs in their 1st innings.  Dhruvaj Narkhede at no.9 scored 48 runs in an otherwise dismal 1st innings performance courtesy Mann Bhanushali from Avinash Salvi Foundation. The young off spinner returned with sensational bowling figures of 5/49 in 17.3 overs alongwith 5 maidens.

Avinash Salvi Foundation in reply scored a commanding total of 336/9 thanks to their talented opener Abhigyan Kundu smashing a brilliant 171 off 101 balls. Kundu smashed 28 fours and 5 sixes with a strike rate of 169.31 defying the laws of test cricket. Dhruvaj who scored crucial 48 runs also contributed with the bat taking 5/33 in 14.3 overs.

CMT A (CTPC U14) side in 2nd innings trailing 176 runs were all out for just 63 runs in what turned out to be a batting collapse for the team. Spinner Mann Bhanushali again proved quite lethal taking 4/30 in 13 overs with 5 maidens taking his tally to 9/79 in 30.3 overs in the match which are some amazing bowling figures for the promising youngster who is knocking the doors of Mumbai U14 team. Vedant Gore was the pick of the bowler in 2nd innings as he took 5/31 in 12 overs cleaning up the opposition team in style.

Result:  Avinash Salvi Foundation won by an innings and 113 runs
