KCC Royals wins the finals of SKR Premium League Season- 2

KCC ROYALS

Played at the SKR Valley Cricket Ground in Telangana, Hyderabad, KCC Royals after being put to bat first managed to post a respectable total on board of 143/9 in 20 overs.  At one stage, they were struggling with 42/3 in 6 overs however Sai and Raghavan stitched an important partnership of 70 runs to bring their team back into the game. Raghava Amireddy top scored for the team smashing 59 off 42 balls while Saiprasad Bhosle played a crucial cameo of 32 runs in 19 balls. Neeraj Sarda with 3/10 in 3.3 overs was the pick of the lot.

Defending a total of 143 runs, Friends XI (Barkatpura) could only manage 126/8 in 20 overs.  Imran Satish and Raghava chipped in with 2 wickets each while Satish and Sai proved to the most active fielders with grabbing 2 catches each. The fielding from KCC Royals especially Hafeez, Raghu and Khaja was quite inspiring in such a high voltage match. Vinod had also patrolled the boundary line with full efforts making it difficult for opposition to take doubles. It was an overall team performance from all departments as KCC Royals went on to become the champions of SKR Valley Gold Cup.

In leaderboard, Saiprasad was the highest run getter for KCC with 168 runs at an average of 33.00 while Raghu with 10 wickets was the leading wicket taker.
