Karan Joshi Century & Akshay Girap fifer steers Western Railways SC to a win in F Div Times Shield’25

Western Railways Traffic Sports Club after being put to bat first at Cross Maidan, Mumbai made a total of 312/9 in 45 overs. Opener Ashish Gharat scored a solid half century giving a solid start to the innings while it was Karan Joshi at no.3 who once again turned the tides with a match winning century. Karan went on to score a brilliant 111 off 79 balls which included 11 boundaries and a six helping Western Railway cross the elusive 300 run mark.

Income Tax Sports and Recreation Club in reply were all out for 102 runs in 34.4 overs courtesy a game changing impactful spell by Akshay Girap who took 5/11 in 3.4 overs. Akshay provided timely breakthroughs eroding opposition’s middle order as Western Railways Traffic Sports Club won the match by 197 runs.
