Jayy plays the finishers role with an unbeaten 43* in Bank of Baroda’s win in MCA Corporate Trophy’24

Played at PJ Hindu Gymkhana, DTDC Sports Club batting first made a total of 178/7 in 20 overs with half century by Gautam Waghela and Maxwell Swaminathan scoring 43 at the middle order. Krutik, Kartik and Irfan Umair with 2 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Chasing 179, opener C Gautam gave a flying start scoring 57 off 18 balls while it was Jayy Jain and Naga Bharath at the middle order who finished of the game for BOB. Jayy scored an unbeaten 43* off 20 balls which included 4 boundaries and 3 sixes while stitching a 75 run stand with N Bharath as Bank of Baroda won the match by 6 wkts.

Jayy overall has been in excellent nick this season and this his 4th unbeaten knock in high pressure matches this season. Jay scored a 28 ball 41* vs Shivaji Park Gymkhana in the President Cup, 33 ball 46* vs Nirlon in MCA Corporate Trophy followed by a 34* vs Space CC in Corporate Trophy and now a match winning 43* vs DTDC.
