Jayy Jain’s 118 steers Parsee Gymkhana to a win while Aditya’s 7wkt haul goes in vain in MCA Young Comrade Shield’25

Parsee Gymkhana opting to bat first on their homeground were at one stage in deep trouble with scoreboard reading 3/32 in 10.3 overs. However, Parsee Gymkhana’s solid middle order helped them rescue with Ishan Mulchandani (35 runs) and Sachin Yadav (50 runs) stitching 77 runs stand for the 4th wicket. Jayy Jain who came at no.6 changed the course of the game as he went on to score a game changing innings of 118 runs in mere 97 balls. Left-handed Jayy displayed solid character taking on the bowlers confidently taking his team to a strong position as Parsee Gymkhana were able to notch up 319 runs in 58.3 overs.

Jayy smashed 17 boundaries and a six as he continues his consistent run with the bat throughout the season for Parsee Gymkhana. From the bowlers, Aditya Rane with 7/87 in 22.3 overs including 2 maidens.

United Cricketers in reply were all out for 239 runs in 61.3 overs with Nutan Goel (4/47) and Sagar Chabbria (3/69) being the pick of the lot as Parsee Gymkhana won the match by 80 runs.
