Ishan hits ton while fast bowler Zaid Patankar returns with a fifer as Parsee Gymkhana clinches a win in MCA President Cup’24

Parsee Gymkhana after being put to bat first on their home ground made a total of 233/5 in 20 overs with opener Ishan Mulchandani stamping his presence with a towering hundred. Ishan scored an impressive knock of 109 runs in mere 51 balls which included 18 boundaries and 2 sixes. Kevin Almeida at no.3 scored a solid half century smashing 51 off 29 balls as Parsee Gymkhana reached a more than decent total on the board to defend.

Sind Sports Club in reply were all out for just 111 runs in 12.4 overs as pacer Zaid Patankar ran through Sind’s batting line up with his fiery spell of fast bowling. Zaid was bang on with the ball returning with a match winning bowling performance of 5/21 in 3.4 overs taking key top and middle order wickets as Parsee Gymkhana won the match by 122 runs.
