Hitesh Parmar’s 8wkt haul goes in vain as Uday Shah’s fifer helps Mazgaon CC take lead in D Division Kanga League’25

Mazgaon Cricket Club batting first on SKP Athletics wicket at Azad Maidan were all out for 123 runs in 36.1 overs. Most of the batters found it difficult to get going apart from Abhijeet Rohandiya who scored an unbeaten 40* off 71 balls. Coming at no.4, Abhijeet held fort from one end batting till the very end. From the bowlers, Hitesh Parmar returned with excellent bowling figures of 8/54 in 17.3 overs including 3 maidens.

SKP Athletics Club in reply were all out for 80 runs in 28.1 overs with Arhan Maker being the only player to score in double digits. Arhan scored 52 runs off 94 balls accounting to almost 60% of team runs scored by him alone. Fast Bowler Uday Shah came up with an impactful bowling performance which helped Mazgaon dominate and have an upper hand in the match. Uday took 5/14 in 7 overs including 2 maidens alongwith Dhruv Gothi who took 3/18 as both the bowlers helped Mazgaon Cricket Club win the match on 1st innings lead.
