Qatar Team after being put to bat first made 125//10 in 20 overs. Qatar who were reeling at one stage with scoreboard reading 5/27 and 7/55 got back into the game thanks to their all-rounder Himanshu Rathod whose batting exploits at no.8 helped their team reach a three figure total. Coming at no.8, Himanshu scored a very important knock of 47 runs in 38 balls which included 4 fours and 3 sixes while smartly batting with the tail. It was Himanshu’s knock which ultimately made the game exciting as Qatar ended up giving a tough fight to Hong Kong Team.

It was not an easy ride for Hong Kong either as Qatar bowlers gave it all with everyone contributing with crucial spells. Himanshu who only bowled one over in the death showed his class conceding only 1 run while taking 2 wkts in it. The match eventually ended in a tie which ensured a super over in which Hong Kong took the upper hand and won the match.
