Harshit Kumar’s Century steers MCC Santacruz B to a win in U16 MCC Talent Search Tournament’25

MCC Santacruz B after being put to bat first at Oval Maidan in Mumbai were all out after scoring 257 runs in 38.3 overs. Aryan Jadhav (59 runs off 50 balls) who came at no.3 and Harshit Kumar who came at no.4 emerged top scorers as they stitched a crucial partnership together. Captain Harshit led from the front as he went on to score a brilliant century taking the game away from the opposition. Harshit scored a brilliant knock of 100 runs in mere 64 balls which included 12 boundaries and a six helping his team reach a respectable total to defend.

NBEE Sports Club in reply gave a tough fight managing to score 236/8 in 40 overs falling short by 21 runs. Mukesh Mahto and Aditya Kesarwani with 2wkts each were the pick of the lot as MCC Santacruz B won the match by 21 runs. Harshit Kumar for his match winning hundred was declared ‘man of the match”
