Harpreet fights it out with a gritty 61 for Hoylandswaine CC in Huddersfield Premier Cricket League’25

Moorlands CC Yorkshire batting first at Haigh Lane Ground in UK made a total of 225/10 in 48.2 overs powered by two solid half centuries by opener James and Brooke Guest at the middle order. From the bowlers, Samit Patel and Max Morley were the pick of the lot taking 3 wkts a piece.

Chasing 226, Hoylandswaine CC received a tough fight from the bowlers changing the game around in time from 160/3 to 185 all out. The experienced Harpreet Bhatia at no.3 showed resilience with a fighting knock of 61 runs in 62 balls which included 10 boundaries and a six while stitching an 113 runs stand for the 4th wicket with Luke Bridges (53 runs). However, post the wicket of Luke and Harpreet things crumbled up very quickly with Wasim taking 4 wkts and Osama chipping in with 3 wkts as Moorlands CC, Yorkshire won the match by 42 runs.
