Gaurav Bengre’s 91 steers ESWA into the finals of D Div MCA Corporate Trophy’24

Enthusiasts Sports & Welfare Assc reaches finals of D Div MCA Corporate Trophy 2024 riding on blitzkrieg of  Gaurav Bengre against Group Satellite on 13th Nov played at Dadoji Kondev Athletics Stadium in Mumbai.

Winning the Toss ESWA chose to bat first. ESWA found themselves in trouble with 63 for 5 in 10 overs. Gaurav bailed out the collapsing team, smashing Opposition bowlers relentlessly all over the park with 9 monstrous hits out of the park and 6 boundaries. Gaurav’s scintillating knock helped ESWA to put up a winning total of 177/7 in 20 overs. Gaurav scored 91*(35), indeed, one of the best knocks under pressure in a semifinals game. His innings was full of determination, grit, skill and power and a true captain’s knock. Shailesh Dubey was only other ESWA batter who scored 26(23) and held the innings.

While chasing Team Satellite succumbed to brilliant bowling attack led by Vivek Oza 3/14 in 3 overs & Prathamesh Surve 3/24 in 4 overs. Gaurav Bengre also contributed taking 1/17 in 4 overs . Team Satellite where never allowed to stay in the game by brilliant bowling and fielding efforts from ESWA.

Gaurav Bengre was awarded MoM for his all-round brilliance performance. ESWA now faces TMC in finals of MCA Corp Trophy 2024.
