DY Academy’s Shahid Khan smashes a century for Payyade in 27th Ajit Naik Memorial Tournament’24

Payyade Sports Club batting first at Club Aquaria Ground in Dahisar made a total of 145 all out in their 1st innings with Chinmay Patil taking a fifer.

Club Aquaria Dahisar in reply batted well in their 1st innings posting a total of 239 runs courtesy brilliant batting by Captain Shahid Khan. Shahid who came at no.3 top scored in the match scoring an impressive knock of 109 off 128 balls which included 15 boundaries at a healthy strike rate of 85.16. Shahid led from the front as a skipper stitching crucial partnerships with middle order batters and anchoring team towards a respectable total.

Payyade Sports Club in 2nd innings batted for 31 overs with scoreboard reading 116/6 before the end of the game’s play where Club Aquaria Dahisar were declared winners on the basis of 1st innings lead. Shahid Khan for his superb hundred was declared ‘player of the match”
