CCT XI after opting to bat first at New Madies Ground 3 in Telangana, Hyderabad, posted a total of 162/6 in 20 overs. Dinesh Mohan at no.4 top scored with 46* runs off 36 balls while Shashi at the middle order also scored a crucial cameo of 42 off 25 balls. Dinesh who came in to bat during 9th over batted till the very end taking his team towards a respectable total.
Multiple Storms MS XI in reply found it difficult to get going as they scored 139/9 in 20 overs. Only 3 batters from MS XI managed to score in double digits which ensured they were not able to cross the victory line. The bowlers did an excellent job with Bhanu and Arjun picking up 3 wkts each. Dinesh Mohan who top scored with the bat also chipped in with the ball taking 2/12 in 3 overs.
Result: CCT XI won by 23 runs, Dinesh Mohan declared ‘man of the match’. Dinesh Mohan was also one of the Top all-rounders in the tournament taking 11 wkts alongwith 202 runs in 5 matches being the Most Valuable Player in the Tournament with 37.050 points.
