Dinesh Mohan’s 76 guides Directors XI to a win in SCPL Season-2

Directors XI after being put to bat first at SCG Cricket Ground in Hyderabad made a healthy total of 200/3 on board in their 20 overs. After a decent start by the openers, it was Dinesh Mohan who played the accelerator’s role coming in at no.3 and batting till the very end. Dinesh went on to score an impactful 76* off 46 balls which included 4 fours and a six coupled with lots of running between the wickets. Dinesh who was striking at 165.22 built the innings for his team while being ably supported by Santhosh (47*) as both the batters stitched an unbeaten 87 run stand for the 4th wicket.

Playat App in reply scored 166/6 in 20 overs as Directors XI bowlers did a convincing job with the ball not allowing the opposition batters to free hands during the death overs. As many as 9 bowlers were used in the match with 6 of them chipping in with a wicket each as Directors XI won the match by 34 runs. Dinesh Mohan for his all-round show of 76* and 1wkt was declared ‘man of the match”
