MCC XI opting to bat first at Saanvi Cricket Arena Ground in Hyderabad made a healthy total of 179/4 in 20 overs. All-Rounder Dinesh Mohan opening the innings batted from start to end taking on the bowlers with complete disdain. Dinesh kept the scoreboard ticking en-route his brilliant 100* off 63 balls, a knock which included 9 boundaries and 2 sixes. The rest of the batters batted around him as MCC XI reached a defendable total on board.
Shree Siddhi Lagaan Warriors in reply could only manage 160/8 in 20 overs as MCC XI bowlers did an impressive job with the ball. Ronda Reddy (3 wkts) and V Chowdhary (2 wkts) were the pick of the lot as MCC XI won the match by 19 runs.
