Dinesh Mohan bags Best Batsman & Man of the Series in New Madies Premier League – Season 1

Into the all important finals of the tournament, B Sporty Academy (Corporate) opting to bat first posted a mammoth total of 208/3 in 20 overs. Openers Shiva M and Jitendra Tyagi took the game away putting on 80 run stand within the first 8 overs with both the openers going on to smash crucial half centuries. Skipper Dinesh Mohan also contributed with the bat scoring 31 off 21 balls coming at no.3

Team Titans XL in reply were all out for 131 runs in 19.1 overs courtesy a tight bowling performance by B Sporty Academy bowlers. Srikanth and Raghu bagged 3 wkts each being the pick of the lot amongst the bowlers while Dinesh also had a good day behind the stumps grabbing 4 catches.

B Sporty Academy won the match by 77 runs winning the finals and emerging champions of the tournament. Dinesh Mohan ended up bagging Best Batsman and Man of the Series Awards scoring 332 runs in 6 matches with an average of 83.00 and a strike rate of 157.35 topping the MVP charts with 47.37 points. Dinesh simultaneously also received Best Batsman and Man of the Series Trophy in FCCT Trophy Season 27 where he scored 298 runs in 6 innings at an astounding average of 149.00!
