Balmohan School opting to bat first faced a tough time as fast Bowler Indra Mishra (3/23) enjoyed a superb morning spell as he ran through the Balmohan’s top order with a searing spell. He bowled with great control and hit the right areas consistently thereby making the batters commit mistakes. At one point the scoreboard read 27 for the loss of 4 wickets.

Balmohan stitched together a partnership before leg spinners Aarya Sagare and Aayush Ambekar deceived the batters with turn, dip, bounce and flight. Aayush took 4/14 in 5.3 overs and Aarya (2/21) took 2 wickets and restricted Balmohan to 108. Captain Aayush Ambekar continued his form and scored a brilliant unbeaten half century (54*) after his unbeaten century in the first round. His partner Vihaan Wagh (33*) played a patient knock of unbeaten 33 runs.

All the promising performances of the students have been result of consistent hardwork and efforts put by Head Coach Hrishikesh Puranik from Cricket Explained Academy as Aarya, Indra, Vihaan and Aayush all train under Coach Hrishikesh at his academy.

Result: St Joseph’s High School (State Board) Dombivli won the match without losing a wicket.
