CCI whitewashes Karnatak SA as opener Rudra Dhanday smashes match winning ton in A Div Police Shield’22

Rudra Dhanday

Karnatak Sporting Association after being put to bat first at MIG CC Ground were all out for 141 runs in 43.1 overs, a total which certainly would’nt have posed much threat to the power packed batting line up of CCI. CCI Bowlers did well with Saksham Parashar and Irfan Malik bagging 4 wkts each.

Chasing 142 looked like a mere formality for Cricket Club of India as they won the match by 8 wkts and chased it down in just 27.5 overs. Rudra Dhanday who just scored some brilliant hundreds in U25 BCCI Tournament for Central Railways continued his purple patch with the bat this time scoring an elegant 101* off just 87 balls. Rudra smashed 12 fours and 3 sixes keeping the scoreboard ticking and dominating bowlers with absolute class.
