Bihar All-Rounder Adarsh Singh shines with a match-winning hundred in BSNL Cup’23

Played at NIOC Ground in Muzzafarpur, Samrat XI batting first scored 194 runs in their 20 overs with opener Aman Scoring 83 runs. From the bowlers, Adarsh Kumar was the pick of the lot returning with exceptional bowling figures of 4/17 in 4 overs. Apart from Adarsh, Dilip also chipped in with 2 wkts.

Chasing 195, BSNL Patna gave an equally terrific performance while chasing courtesy their star all-rounder Adarsh Singh who came at no.3 and went on to score a heroic innings of 112 runs in mere 53 balls which included 12 sixes and 5 fours. Adarsh who just came back from injury took no time to make his presence felt as he completely dominated in the match first taking 4wkts, then scoring a century and also taking 2 catches in the match.

Adarsh gave it all while chasing as the match went till the final ball where it ended in a draw which resulted in a super over. BSNL scored 13 runs in their super over batting first wherein Adarsh scored 10 runs which also included a six. Defending 14 runs, Adarsh also delivered with the ball taking wicket from the very 1st ball while only conceding 9 runs in the super over as BSNL won the match by 5 runs. Adarsh Singh for his all-round performance was declared ‘man of the match”
