Nirlon ltd opting to bat first at MCA BKC ground made a first innings total of 279/10 in 80.4 overs with two solid half centuries registered by opener Bhupen Lalwani and Agni Chopra. Bhupen opening the innings scored a solid 62 off 121 balls laced with 7 boundaries and a six being the top run scorer for Nirlon while Agni Chopra who came at no.5 scored 54 runs off 39 balls which included 9 boundaries and a six. From the bowlers, Nadeem Shaikh and Satyajeet Bachav with 3wkts each were the pick of the lot.

CGST & C.EX in reply were all out for 227 runs with opener Rohan Marwaha scoring a half century. Zaid Patankar (4/75) and Yash Dicholkar (4/44) were impressive with the ball picking up 4 wkts each helping Nirlon stay on top and take the first innings lead by 52 runs.

Nirlon batted for 47 overs in the 2nd innings scoring 192/7 before the end of the game’s play where Nirlon won the match on 1st innings lead.
