Bhupen Lalwani (64 runs) & Agni Chopra (57 runs) guide Nirlon to a win in 19th DY Patil T20’25

Nirlon opting to bat first made a healthy total of 207/6 in 20 overs. Openers Ishaan and Aarya Desai wickets fell early but it was Bhupen Lalwani and Agni Chopra steadying the ship for Nirlon team. Bhupen who played for Chhattisgarh this year smashed a solid half century smashing a brilliant knock of 64 runs in 38 balls (5 fours, 3 sixes). Bhupen also stitched a match winning 116 run stand with Agni Chopra who scored an equally solid 57 off 29 balls smashing 2 boundaries and 6 sixes.

Canara Bank in reply were all out for 191 runs in 19.3 overs with Ashok Sharma coming up with a crucial spell of 3/26 in 4 overs. Apart from Ashok, quicksters Badrey Alam and Zaid Patankar bagged 2 wkts a piece as Nirlon won the match by 16 runs.
