Barking CC wins while Paceman Harshil bags a 4-fer vs Wickford CC in Essex League’24

Wickford CC opting to bat first at Patmore Memorial Sports Ground in UK made a total of 131 runs all out in 40.4 overs. Barking CC bowlers did a commendable job not allowing any batters to convert their starts into big individual scores. Harshil Doshi, the left arm pacer from Mumbai who is in his 2nd overseas Tour to UK continues to impress one and all with his searing pace bowling as he ended up being the pick of the lot for Barking CC. Harshil returned with excellent bowling figures of 4/30 in 11 overs which included 3 maidens. Apart from Harshil, Umaad Sultan also took 4 wkts for 32 runs.

Barking CC in reply chased down the total in just 21 overs courtesy a match winning half century by opener Hasnain Qureshi. Hasnain scored 81* off 67 balls while he was ably supported by Gul Zaman (33*) as Barking CC crossed the victory line with ease winning the match by 9 wickets.
