Back to Back Half Centuries for G Prem in ICA Premier League’23

G Prem, one of the promising young talents of Hyderabad Cricket continues to stamp his presence scoring runs wherever he gets opportunities to showcase his talent. In the recent ICA Premier League, G Prem representing Iqbal Cricket Academy smashed two back to back half centuries, first on 4th may followed by another unbeaten one on 6th of May. 2023 and both of them helped his team Iqbal Cricket Academy win the match.

In the match vs Master Blaster at Green View Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Iqbal Cricket Academy opting to bat first made 129/7 in 20 overs wherein G Prem coming in at no.3 almost scored half of the team runs smashing 58 off 60 balls which included 4 fours and a six. In reply, Master Blaster Team only managed 87/7 in 20 overs as Iqbal Cricket Academy won the match by 42 runs. G Prem for his crucial half century was declared ‘man of the match”

In the other match vs Rising Falcons, Iqbal CA after being put to bat first made a total of 165/3 in 20 overs wherein G Prem was the top scorer. Captain G Prem who came at no.5 scored 68* off 44 balls (7 boundaries) while also stitched a crucial stand with opener Surya as they took their team towards a strong position to defend their total. Rising Falcons in reply were all out for 73 runs as Iqbal Cricket Academy won the match by 92 runs.
