Back to Back Half Centuries for Al-Saadh Sheikh in U23 Madhav Mantri Tournament’24

National CC Centre 1 opting to bat first at Karnataka, Cross Maidan made a total of 301/10 in 88.3 overs with opener AlSaadh Sheikh being the top scorer with 75 runs off 192 balls where in he smashed 10 fours and a six.

Central Maidan Centre 1 in reply were all out for 154 runs with Vinay Kunwar bagging a fifer. National CC Centre 1 in 2nd innings once again batted well declaring their innings at 222/5 in 40 overs with Alsaadh Sheikh once again scoring a valiant half century. Alsaadh Sheikh who came at middle order in the 2nd innings scored a pacy 60 off 64 balls with seven boundaries and one six while also stitching partnership with Vinay Kunwar before they batted their quota of 40 overs.

Central Maidan Centre 1 in 2nd innings batted for their alloted 40 overs scoring 188/9 before the end of the game’s play where National CC Centre 1 won the match by 188 runs. It was a great performance by National CC players with Alsaadh Sheikh leaving behind a mark with two consecutive half centuries for National CC 1.
