All-Rounder Yogesh Shinde bags MoM in the finals of 1st All India Police Cricket Tournament’25

Into the all-important finals of the tournament, Madhya Pradesh Police opting to bat first at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat made a total of 126/8 in 20 overs.  Opener Pragya scored 41 runs while from the bowlers, Yogesh Shinde was the pick of the lot returning with bowling figures of 4/12 in 3 overs. Yogesh’s spell was not only spot including crucial wicket of opener Pragya but he also provided timely breakthroughs not allowing the opposition team to settle down.

Chasing 127, Maharashtra Police chased down the score comfortably to emerge the champions of the All-India Tournament.  Rohit Pol at no.3 anchored the chase with an unbeaten half century smashing 57* off 44 balls which included 2 boundaries and 3 sixes. Yogesh Shinde at no.5 also contributed with the bat as he scored 21 off 20 balls as Maharashtra Police won the finals by 5 wkts.
