All-Rounder Sachin Gill bags a stunning fifer vs Obuya Academy in NPCA Super 50 Overs Tournament’22

Played at Ruaraka Sports Club Ground in Nairobi, Obuya Academy A after being put to bat first were all out for 134/10 in 33.2 overs. The wrecker in chief, the bowler who inflicted maximum damage from the word Go was none other than all-rounder Sachin Gill who made life difficult for Obuya Academy. Sachin opened the bowling and bagged a stunning 4 wkts in the first over itself striking in the 2nd, 3rd, 5th & 6th ball of 1st over of the 1st the innings. Obuya at one stage were 4 down without any opening their account on the scoreboard. Sachin eventually ended his bowling figures with 5/35 in 9.2 overs.

Ruaraka Sports Club A in reply chased down the score with 8 wkts in hand and crossing the victory line in mere 17.2 overs. Opener Pushkar Sharma and Sachin Gill at no.3 took no time to finish off the chase in a commanding fashion. Pushkar scored 61* off 53 balls while Sachin scored 46 off 35 balls smashing 6 fours and a six falling just 4 short of a deserving half century.

Result: Rurarka Sports Club won the match by 8 wkts, Sachin Gill for his all round show was declared Player of the Match.
