All-Rounder Aayush Patil impresses with a brilliant hundred in the ongoing MCA Summer Shield’23

Anushakti Nagar Sports and Recreation Club opting to bat first at MB Union, Cross Maidan made a total of 283/8 in 45 overs with Vinayak Pawar at the middle order chipping in with a crucial half century. From the bowlers, All-Rounder Aayush Patil led from the front taking 3/54 in 7 overs alongwith Shreyas who took 2 wkts.

Chasing 284, VST Gymkhana were off to a flying start with openers Aayush and Amogh putting on 148 runs for the first wicket. Amogh scored a gutsy 80 ball 50 while Aayush went on to score a brilliant anchoring innings of 113 runs in 119 balls which included 12 fours and 2 sixes. Aayush almost took his team home with a win but after the dismissal of openers, VST Gymkhana batters could’nt make much impact as most of the players got starts but collapsed eventually managing 266/8 in 45 overs as Anushakti Nagar Sports Club won the match by 17 runs.
