Lohagad Emperors opting to bat first at Asthapailu Cricket Ground in Pune made a total of 165/7 in 20 overs. Openers Suraj Andhale and Sushant Chimate (22 runs) gave a flying start putting on 73 runs for the first wicket which developed the positive momentum for the team. Suraj 46 runs off 35 balls top scoring for Lohagad while Yash Baldawa played the finishers role in the death overs scoring a quickfire 30* off 15 balls which included 5 boundaries. From the bowlers, Aditya Kale and Hemant Sathaye bagged 2 wkts each.

Sinhagad Lions in reply did gave a tough fight but ultimately fell short of the target as they ended their innings with 154/7 in 20 overs. Ajit Bhinge at no.6 almost took the game away with a smashing half century. Ajit scored a counter-attacking 61 off just 33 balls which included 5 boundaries and 3 sixes striking at almost 185.00! From the bowlers, Salil Riswadkar with 3/19 was the pick of the lot while Samir and Kaiwalya bagged 2 wkts each.

Result: Lohagad Emperors won the match by 11 runs, Kaiwalya Barde who scored 22 runs and took 2wkts was declared ‘man of the match”
