Abir Chadha bags a 9wkt haul in MCA U19 Men’s Multi Day Invitation League Tournament’25

Nandurbar U19 Team after being put to bat first at Sandip College Cricket Ground in Nashik made a total of 138/10 in 45.5 overs. Tanuj Kale at lower middle order was the highest scorer with 57* off 59 balls which included 9 boundaries. From the bowlers, Abir Chadha led from the front being the pick of the lot as he returned with exceptional bowling figures of 5/52 in 13.5 overs. Alongwith Abir, Captain M.Shaikh also chipped with 4 wkts.

Osmanabad U19 team in reply scored 215 runs in their 1st innings powered by two crucial half centuries by Anudeep (51 runs) and Mayur J (55 runs). Nandurbar U19 Men’s team in 2nd innings were bundled out for just 88 runs in 36.4 overs and Abir Chadha was once again the pick of the lot taking 4/24 in 11 overs including 3 maidens. Abir ended match with bowling figures of 9/76 in 24.5 overs.

With a lead of just 14 runs, Osmanabad U19 team chased down in 2.3 overs and winning the match by 10 wkts. Abir for his match winning spell of 9 wkts was declared ‘man of the match”
