Aayush Shinde ton & Abhishek’s fifer powers General Education Academy to a win in MI Juniors U16 Boys Inter School Tournament’25

General Education Academy, Chembur batting first at Youth’s Own Union, Cross Maidan made a massive total of 304/6 in 38 overs courtesy a thundering hundred by their skipper Aayush Shinde. Aayush coming at no.3 went on to score a brilliant 110 off 87 balls which set the tone for his team’s innings. Aayush played attacking brand of cricket smashing 11 boundaries and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 126.44 while rest of the batters batted around him as General Education Academy managed to cross the 300 run mark.

Anjuman Islam, Fort in reply were cleaned up for 79 runs in 17.4 overs with Abhishek Pandey coming up with match winning bowling performance of 5/30 in 8 overs including a maiden. Sumedh Desai also contributed well with the ball taking 3 wkts as General Education Academy won the match by 225 runs.
