Aalok bags MoM award as Ugraretas CC defeats Lions Pride in Ace Republic Day Trophy’24

Lions Pride opting to bat first at KPP Ryan Global Sports Ground in Bangalore managed a total of 109/10 in 14.4 overs with Althaf’s 21 at the middle order being the top score. UCC bowlers did a great job restricting the opposition to a modest total. Aalok Singh was the pick of the lot from the bowlers returning with bowling figures of 3/13 in 3 overs while Ganesh Rajan and Sunny taking 2 wkts each.

Ugraretas CC chased down the score successfully winning the match by2 wkts and crossing the victory line in the 15th over.  Wicket-keeper opening batsman Akash scored 22 runs while Ganesh Rajan at lower middle order played a very crucial cameo of 17* in 13 balls as UCC won the match by 2 wkts.
