10 wkt haul for Off-Spinner Yash Tolani in E Division Kanga League’24

Young Friends Cricket Club opting to bat first at Sydenham College Ground in Oval Maidan were all out for 65 runs in 25.3 overs. Off Spinner Yash Tolani ran through the batting line up of Young Friends returning with excellent bowling figures of 5/17 in 9.3 overs. Yash provided crucial breakthroughs at the top and middle order which made all the difference.

Lord Northbrook CC in reply were all out for 48 runs with Sachin Chaudhari taking 5/18 in 9 overs with 3 maidens. Young Friends CC in 2nd innings were again all out for 41 runs in 27 overs with Yash Tolani again being the star performer returning with envious bowling figures of 5/10 in 10 overs including 5 maidens. Yash overall took 10 wkts in the match being the first bowler in the season to achieve that feat as he ended his overall figures with 10/27 in 19.3 overs with 6 maidens to his name!  Lord Northbrook CC batted for 4 overs in the 2nd innings before the end of the game’s play where Young Friends won the match on 1st innings lead.
