Into the all-important semi-finals at AM Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, SMCC United opting to bat first made a total of 161/5 in 20 overs. Openers Kiran Ram (43 runs) and Ben (20 runs) gave a flying start to the innings while the middle order batters batted well in the death overs to take the team towards a defendable total. All-Rounder Saiprasad Bhosle who came at no.5 scored an unbeaten 27* off 21 balls which included 2 boundaries and a six as rest of the batters batted around him with cameos.
RCC in reply only managed to score 119/8 in 20 overs thanks to a brilliant bowling performance by SMCC United bowlers. Saiprasad Bhosle led from the front with the ball as he returned with match winning bowling performance of 3/30 in 4 overs as his team won the semi-finals by 42 runs.
