Opener Bhupen rings in his 2nd Ranji Ton as Uttarakhand clinch a 9wkt win in Ranji Trophy’26

Played at MBB Stadium in Agartala, Tripura batting first made a total of 266 runs 82.5 overs with half centuries by Sridam Paul and Swapnil Singh. From the bowlers, Mayank Mishra with 4 wkts and Janmejay with 3 wkts was the pick of the lot.

Uttarakhand in reply scored 310 runs in 1^st innings powered by half centuries by Lakshya, Saurabh and Suchith. From the bowlers, MB Mura Singh with 6 wkts was the pick of the lot. Tripura in 2^nd innings were all out for 258 runs giving a target of 224 runs to Uttarakhand which they chased quite comfortably thanks to a brilliant 164 runs partnership between opener Bhupen Lalwani and Captain Kunal Chandela (83* off 106 balls).

Bhupen anchored the chase with his solid batting approach as he went on to score a match winning 100* off 217 balls which had 14 boundaries in it. This was Bhupen’s 2^nd Ranji Ton as it helped Uttarakhand win the match in commanding fashion by 9 wkts.
