Designer’s Premier League, an initiative for Architects and Interior Designer, and students from the same fraternity, to play competitive cricket in Pune. The T20 tournament will be held at Brilliant Sports Academy and Shinde High School, Pune on 28th, 29th & 30th October 2022. There will be 6 teams divided into 2 groups. Each team consists of 15 players + 2 reserve players each, including the captain declared well before the auction. The players will be selected during an auction to be held in September 2022, venue for the same will be announced soon.
The captain will have an opportunity to select players from a pool of around 138 players registered for the tournament. Participating players will be from Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nashik, and Kolhapur. Each team will play 2 league matches; 4 qualifying teams from the league stage will then play the semi-finals and finals. All matches will be played in T20 format. The tournament finals will be held on 30th October 2022 at Brilliant Sports Academy, Pune.
