Shivam Gupta Ton at no.10 steers Automative to a win in B Division Times Shield’26

Automotive Manufacturers Pvt Ltd A batting first made a total of 278/10 in 79.3 overs. Even though they lost both their openers early without letting them open their accounts, it was Ashay Dube at no.3 resurrecting the innings back with a solid knock of 77* off 102 balls. Ashay was well supported by Ruturaj who scored 43 while it was Shivam Gupta who once again played a rescuing knock for Automotive taking the team to a strong position. Shivam who is a spin bowling all-rounder came at no.10 and went on to score a match winning innings of 128 runs in 234 balls. Shivam who smashed 17 boundaries displayed grit and patience as he batted over 200+ balls while taking his team to a winning position.

DMCC in reply were all out for 216 runs to which Automotive scored 326 runs in 2nd innings giving a target of 389 runs to DMCC. Shubham Shinde (53 runs) and Ruturaj Sane (78 runs) scored half centuries at the top order for Automotive.

DMCC batted for 7 overs with score reading 45/2 before the end of the game’s play where Automotive won the match on 1st innings lead.
