Sekhar Addanki’s 84 goes in vain as KP24 Academy clinches a win in T20 Cricket League Season V

Played at JB Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana, KP 24 Academy opting to bat first posted a total of 189/5 in 20 overs. Even though they lost quick wickets with scoreboard reading 44/4 at one stage, they got back into the game courtesy half centuries from Prem Rathod and Shaikh Ahmed who elevated their team to a defendable position.

Demolishers XI in reply were managed 169 runs in 20 overs falling short of 20 runs to win the match. Attacking opener Sekhar Addanki and Kaif gave a flying start of 110 runs for the 1st wicket but eventually batters below them could’nt capitalize. Sekhar top scored in the match with a blazing 84 off 41 balls smashing 11 fours and 4 sixes at a striker rate of almost 205.00

Result: KP24 Academy won the match by 20 runs
