PDTSA wins the finals of U14 Spider Shield Tournament’23

Into the all important finals of the Spider Shield Tournament at Vangaon, Omtex ICWC after being put to bat first made a total of 120/7 in 30 overs. The top order collapsed but the middle order players chipped in with cameos with 20’s by Rudra Patil and Tanuj Kale.

PDTSA in reply chased down the total with ease making it look like a mere formality as they crossed the victory line in just the 22nd over winning the finals by 8 wkts. Openers Nirbhay Keni remained unbeaten on 48* off 66 balls smashing 6 boundaries while Captain Vidhiraj Shukla scored 47 off 48 balls as both the openers took game away from Omtex with their 96 run stand.

U14 Spider Shield is organised by Spider Sports, it was started with honours of ANAND THAKUR SIR, LALIT SHUKLA, AJAY THAKUR, PRAMOD CHIKLIKAR AND UDAYAN SHUKLA. It was great to witness tough competition from all sides and that’s the moto of SPIDER SPORTS nurturing young talent to make them capable to play at highest level.

Result: PDTSA won by 8 wkts, Nirbhay Keni declared “Man of the Match”
