Opener Arjun Tewatia smashes a match winning 122 for Jwala Sports Foundation in MCC Pro 40 League Season’24

MCC Black Plate after being put to bat first at Oval Maidan in Mumbai made a total of 190/10 in 39.3 overs with Krishna Poswal at no.5 being the top scorer with 35 runs off 47 balls. From the bowlers, captain Kunal Roy led from the front taking 3/32 in 5.3 overs while Afsaar and Utkarsh bagging 2wkts a piece.

Jwala Sports Foundation (Plate) in reply chased down the score in dominating fashion winning the match by 8 wkts. Opener Arjun Tewatia took the onus in his hands as he counter attacked from the word go smashing 122* off 81 balls. Arjun kept on playing his natural game even when wickets were tumbling from the other end. Striking at 150.00+ , Arjun smashed 20 boundaries and a six as JSF Plate won the match by 5 wkts
