Janmay Patil (248 runs) & Nehal Meher (5 wkts) put up impressive performances for TVM School in Harris Shield’24

TVM School opting to bat first at Sachivalay Ground on Oval Maidan made a massive total of 638 runs in 45 overs courtesy two big daddy hundreds by TVM openers Janmay and Nirbhay Keni. Nirbhay went on to score a brilliant unbeaten knock of 339 runs while Janmay scored a double century smashing 248 runs as both the openers stitched a record opening stand for their school, a record which will last for a long time now in Harris Shield.

OFHS School in reply were all out for mere 17 runs as Nehal Meher ran through the opposition’s batting line up with a match winning spell of 5 wkts conceding just 1 run in a spell of 2 overs which also included a maiden. Both Nehal and Janmay train at DY Academy in Bhayandar and look promising through their performances. Apart from Nehal, Prayag Shah also bagged 4/8 as Tarabai Vidya Mandir School won the match by a massive margin of 623 runs.
