Gandhar fights it out with 68 while Parsee Gymkhana clinch a win in Talim Shield T20’23

Parsee Gymkhana batting first on their home ground made a total of 159/7 in 20 overs. Opener Aakarshit Gomel top scored with 49 runs off 42 balls while Nikhil Patil and Sachin Yadav contributed with crucial 30’s at the middle order. From the bowlers, Sumit Markali and Varun Joijode with 2 wkts each were the pick of the lot.

Chasing 160 vs Parsee Gymkhana on their home ground is certainly not an easy task but the experienced Gandhar Bhatawadekar showed substance as he fought it out with a well crafted 68 off just 47 balls. Gandhar smashed 5 fours and 2 sixes coming at no.3 however he lacked support from the other end as SPG reached a total of 141/6 in 20 overs falling short of 18 runs.

Result: Parsee Gymkhana won by 18 runs
