Played at MLCC B Ground, Prime/Durham Knights CC opting to bat first made a total of 238/8 in 20 overs. The openers Dennis and Aakash gave a flying start to the innings putting on 101 runs in the first 9 overs. Dennis top scored in the match with a flourishing half century as he smashed an impressive 58 off mere 31 balls. Striking at 187.10, Dennis smashed 6 boundaries and 2 sixes to keep the scoreboard ticking at a good rate! Some quick cameos by Dipinder (41 runs), Ranjodh (25 runs) and Rohan (22 runs) in the death overs helped Durham Knights reach a formidable total on board.
Durham Gladiators CC in reply were cleaned up for just 57 runs in 18.2 overs with just one batter managing to score in single digits. Arjun Venama with 4/15 was the pick of the lot while Dennis Raphel also chipped in with wickets taking 2/6 in 3 overs alongwith a maiden making it a complete all-round show as Prime Durham Knights won by 181 runs.
