Ayush Shinde scores an impressive double century in the ongoing U16 Harris Shield Tournament’24

General Education Academy, Chembur batting first at Bombay Gymkhana ground had almost faced a batting collapse with scoreboard reading 4/3 and 34/5 at one stage. However, Ayush Shinde who came at no.6 changed the course of the match as he went on to score a brilliant knock of 208 runs in 193 balls which included 30 boundaries and a six. Ayush and Ishaan Pathak (116 runs) stitched a 316 run stand for the 6th wicket which rescued their team in a heroic manner as General Education Academy came back into the game in a commanding position.

Anjuman Islam High School in reply were all out for 150 runs in their first innings and in 2nd innings batted for 47 overs before the end of the game’s play with scoreboard reading 209/7. General Education Academy won the match on 1st innings lead while Ayush Shinde for his heroic double century was declared “Player of the Match”
