Saurashtra Cricket Association’s U19 State team will tour Kolkata to Play the prestigious Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Morbi’s Rising Star Manav Aghara has been selected to represent Saurashtra. Popularly known as the Dhoni of Morbi, Manav who trains under Renowned Coach Nishant Jani will travel to Kolkata in the next few days.
Manav has been the ace batsman of Morbi U19 District Team coming up with consistent performances & showing sparks at regular intervals. Manav has joined the Saurashtra team which is working hard for the upcoming marquee tournament.
Regarding Manav Aghara, Excel Sports Academy Head Coach and Morbi District Cricket Association Head Coach Nishant Jani said that Manav also played for Saurashtra in the G-1 tournament this year 7 now he will play in Vinod Mankad Trophy which is organized by BCCI, indeed a proud moment for entire Morbi!
Nishant Jani further added, “Moreover, Manav is a naturally gifted batsman and a very good wicket keeper. Manav has been practicing for 8 to 10 hours everyday consistently since long time. A player who wants to play in the Indian cricket team should have a lot of practice and a sense of dedication, along with the support of the family, any festival or fun has to be forgotten for 10 years. Only then can a career be made in the field of cricket.
He adds that, in cricket, players do not work hard enough and keep making excuses. If we put that aside and work hard and focus only on cricket, we can get results in 10 years. Kantibhai Amritya, President of Morbi District Asso has also congratulated Manav Aghara on this wonderful achievment
